On-Field Challenges by CricHeroes: A Day to Remember!

It was an action-packed Sunday morning at the beautiful SGVP Ground in Ahmedabad on 23rd February 2025, as CricHeroes hosted its first-ever offline event—the thrilling “On-Field Challenges.” Over 100 passionate cricket enthusiasts, ranging from spirited youngsters as young as 9 to experienced players of 46, showcased their cricketing prowess in five exciting cricket challenges.

Participants poured in from different corners of Gujarat and neighboring cities, creating an electric atmosphere buzzing with enthusiasm, friendly competition, and boundless energy. The spirit was simply contagious!

Five Unique Challenges, Countless Memorable Moments

1. Speedy Spearhead Challenge:

Who doesn’t love sheer speed? Young Atharva Prajapati stunned the crowd, clocking a remarkable 98 kmph in the U-14 category. Mo Swalheen Khan wasn’t far behind with a sizzling 114 kmph in the U-19. Dhagash Jani impressed everyone with his blazing speed of 117 kmph in the Open category!

2. Direct Hit Challenge:

Accuracy and precision were key here. Jiyan Patel (U-14) and Krishna Rahewar (U-19) both hit impressive targets from 40 yards. Dhagash Jani again dominated, hitting a bullseye from an incredible 45 yards away in the Open category.

3. York’em Challenge:

Precision bowling took center stage. Interestingly, all age categories witnessed a tie with 2 perfect yorkers each—Sohan Pachula (U-14), Nihal Patel (U-19), and Shailesh Patel (Open category) showcasing exceptional accuracy under pressure.

4. Hard Hitter Challenge (Powered by Stra8bat):

Bat speed and timing became the heroes here. Atharva Prajapati swung the fastest in the U-14 group with a smashing 99 kmph, while Vinay Rajput’s timing was unmatched at 92%. Deepan Khalasi clocked 97 kmph bat speed in U-19, complemented by Sujith Kumar’s brilliant 95% timing index. Dhagash Jani once again shone brightest in the Open category with a massive 109 kmph swing, while Devarsh Gajjar achieved an astounding 98% timing accuracy!

5. Run-A-3 Challenge:

Speedy legs stole the show in this energetic sprint. Aarav Shah raced through in just 12.8 seconds (U-14), Karan B dashed in 10.14 seconds (U-19), and Devarsh Gajjar blazed through in a jaw-dropping 9.56 seconds, becoming the fastest runner in the Open category!
