CricHeroes powers Indian Men’s Mixed Differently-Abled Team as Associate Sponsor

Cricket is more than just a sport in India. It is a shared dream. A symbol of resilience. A stage for courage.

And today, CricHeroes is proud to stand beside a team that embodies the true spirit of the game.

We are delighted to announce that CricHeroes is the Associate Sponsor of the Indian Men’s Mixed Differently-Abled Cricket Team for their upcoming tour of England.

This team represents something larger than competition. It reflects what cricket stands for at its core — effort, discipline, teamwork, and passion.

Backing a Team That Redefines the Game

The Indian Men’s Mixed Differently-Abled Cricket Team includes players from across India. These are athletes who have trained, competed, and grown through the game like any other cricketer. They have spent years working on their craft, not for applause, but for love of the sport.

CricHeroes is proud to walk alongside this team. Not to lead. Not to direct. But to support and amplify a cricketing story that deserves recognition.

Because these players were always #MeantToPlay — and now, they are playing for India.

A Partnership Built on Respect

This collaboration with the Differently-Abled Cricket Council of India is rooted in the same values CricHeroes was built on — recognising and celebrating real cricketing journeys.

At CricHeroes, we have always believed that every cricketer deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated regardless of background or ability. Partnering with DCCI is a proud moment for us, not just as Associate Sponsor, but as a platform committed to recognising real cricketing stories. These players do not just play the game; they redefine its spirit. We are honoured to help amplify their journey, capture their performances, and give them the recognition they truly deserve.

Real Players. Real Stories.

These players come from small towns, big cities, and everything in between. Each one brings a story of discipline, sacrifice, and drive. Cricket gave them structure. It gave them purpose. And they have given everything they have in return.

Whether it is recovering from a setback, balancing work and practice, or simply getting to the ground every day — they have put in the hours. And now, as they gear up to represent India on English soil, their journey takes another meaningful step.

“The collaboration between DCCI and CricHeroes marks a new chapter for cricket for the differently-abled in India. Our goal is to give differently abled cricketers a strong digital identity, a platform where their game, their journey, and their achievements are recorded and recognized. Through this partnership, we aim to showcase disability cricket as a model of excellence, resilience, and talent, while ensuring every player feels seen, valued, and empowered to dream big just like any other cricketer.”

Why It Matters - #MeantToPlay

For far too long, differently-abled cricketers have existed outside the spotlight. Their performances often go unrecorded. Their efforts, though exceptional, are not always acknowledged in the way they deserve.

CricHeroes was built on the belief that every cricketer’s journey should be visible and valued. Our association with this team is one way to extend that belief.

The upcoming tour is more than just a set of matches. It is an opportunity to showcase what cricket looks like when driven by resilience. The team carries with them the hopes of a community that is finally being seen, celebrated, and supported.

As They Take the Field in England

The Indian men’s mixed differently-abled team is set to play seven T20 Internationals in England, including a landmark match at Lord’s — the Home of Cricket.

This is the first time an Indian differently-abled cricket team is touring England under a united squad. Cricketers with physical, hearing, and intellectual disabilities will compete as one team.

The Series Schedule

  • June 21 – Taunton
  • June 23 – Wormsley
  • June 25 – Lord’s
  • June 27 & 29 – Worcester
  • July 1 & 3 – Bristol
(Including a double-header with India Women vs England Women on July 1)

All matches of the series will be livestreamed on SonyLiv.

This Is Just the Beginning

This moment marks a shift. Not just for CricHeroes or DCCI. But for cricket in India.

We hope this partnership brings more visibility to differently-abled cricketers. We hope more fans follow their games. More associations support their tournaments. And more stories like theirs are told completely and honestly.

Sometimes, showing up with sincerity is the most powerful thing you can do.

That is what this moment is about.
